Strontium carbonate (SrCO3) is an inorganic compound, white powder or granule, odorless and tasteless.
It is mainly used in the production of glass, magnetic materials, metal smelting, strontium salt preparation, electronic components, fireworks, etc.

Industrial Uses
Strontium carbonate can be used in the manufacture of color TV cathode-ray tubes, electromagnets, strontium ferrite, fireworks, fluorescent glass, flares, etc. It is also a raw material for the production of other strontium salts. It can be specially used to produce PTC thermistor elements (switch, demagnetization, current limiting protection, constant temperature heating, etc).
As a carrier of palladium, it can be used for hydrogenation. In addition, it is also used in paper making, medicine, analytical reagents, sugar refining, refining of zinc metal electrolyte, strontium salt pigments, etc.
